Video: Wonder woman steals the spotlight during SA vs Eng 3rd T20I
Usually, in the game of cricket, players steal the show for their ability to score runs or take wickets but this time around, there was a twist in the tale. Believe it or not, wonder woman stole the spotlight during South Africa versus England third T20I encounter.
The decider was played between South Africa and England in Centurion on Sunday but little did anyone know that a famous superhero figure ‘Wonder Woman’ would invade the pitch to spread and create awareness about air quality and alarming levels of pollution.
The unexpected incident took place during England’s 223-run chase right after Jason Roy’s dismissal in the second over.
The pitch invader, who was also donning white colour mask, ran straight towards South Africa skipper and wicket-keeper batsman Quinton de Kock and after a quick chat with him, she had then handed him a mask from the bag she was holding.
Soon, the veteran pacer Dale Steyn joined the conversation and then gave a high-five with the pitch intruder and after which, he also got a mask from the ‘Wonder Woman’.
