WAGs of Indian players to be allowed for just 15-days stay during WC
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will permit wives and family members of the Indian cricket team players and support staff to join with the players for just 15-days during the ICC World Cup 2019 in England and Wales.
And this time period will begin only after the 21-days from the start of the tournament. That means they will be available after June 20 which will force them to miss the epic and historic encounter between India and Pakistan on June 16.
BCCI have already affirmed the decision without counseling the Indian captain Virat Kohli, who has constantly expressed the need of families to be available, particularly in the World Cup. The choice was made after a series of genuine discussions. In the last tour in Australia, the authorities passed a hard time to manage match passes and to accommodate 37-members including players, support staffs and their families.

After the completion of 21-days from the beginning of the tournament, wags of Indian players can join at any time with them but won’t able to stay more than 15-days. Also, it has additionally been chosen that the wags won’t go in the team bus and will go in a different transport as they wish.
