Waiting for a Gayle show in BPL
With 8 points in hand, Barisal Bulls is standing in the second position of the point table of BRB Cables BPL T20 tournament of 2015. Half way through the tournament, Barisal has so far picked up 4 wins but still is behind in the table from Comilla Victorians in net run rate.
Barisal Bulls will have a major boost up in their first ever chase for the title within a few days of time span when Caribbean master hitter Chris Gayle will join in the camp for the upcoming matches. Gayle is supposed to arrive in coming Friday and has been under contract to perform for Barisal Bulls in rest of the tournament.
Sighing his all natural aggressiveness, Chris Gayle has pinched his eye to a hundred in the shortest version of the game just after several days to contemplate what his fellow country man Evin Lewis had done.
It can be noted that the Caribbean maestro is the first ever centurion of BPL; he hammered a 44 ball hundred in the first match of the Bangladesh Premier League when he played for Dhaka Gladiators.
Playing only six matches so far in the Bangladesh Premier League, Chris Gayle scored more than 400 runs with 3 centuries on the card. If Barisal Bulls will ultimately go through the semi finals of this tournament, Chris Gayle will be watched for seven consecutive matches in this season.
Quite apart from the results, there will be tremendous enjoyment that Chris Gayle will provide for the spectators.
