The initial host and Mumbai’s cricketing mecca, the Wankhede Stadium, had been experiencing problems over the past few weeks due to the complimentary tickets impasse between the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

MCA is been quite strong in their decision that they will offer only 600 tickets for BCCI quota. But the asking amount from BCCI is supremely large as they demand 7000 tickets.

Earlier on this week MCA announced their final decision with this issue. “We haven’t taken any decision so far. But 600 tickets just won’t be enough for us. We need 7,000 tickets because we need to give them to all our (330) club members, donors, Government of Maharashtra, police, fire brigade, sports department, PWD.”

Finally the issue has came to its conclusion as BCCI has named a replace venue as Brabourne Stadium will host the fourth ODI of the series replacing Wankhede Stadium.

Earlier the second match of the five match ODI series between the two nations was shifted from Indore to Vishakapatnam regarding complementary ticket issues.
