Warne predicts four stars of 2019 Cricket World Cup
Former Australia’s spin wizard Shane Warne has predicted who will surely shine in the ongoing World Cup. Warne believes that at least four players will emerge as the stars of the showpiece event.
Warne predicted David Warner to be the player of the World Cup because he thinks that Warner has a lot of cricket left in him to deliver the much-needed amends in the bat-ball game.
“I have tipped David Warner to be the Player of the Tournament. He’s got so much to prove and he looked good the other day (in Australia’s victory over Afghanistan),” Warne echoed.
Buttler will shine: Warne
The former legendary leg-spinner predicted Jos Buttler to thrive at the World Cup. Buttler is known for the knack of bit hitting skills and it is no doubt that he would shine especially in the familiar home conditions.
As per Shane Warne, Australia’s Pat Cummins would come out as the emerging star this time around as he has the ability to bowl at a brisk pace and cause problems to the opposition batsmen.
Then he tipped Windies’ muscular hitter Andre Russell who will replicate the fierce power at the marquee event just like he did in the recently-concluded Indian Premier League season.
“Pat Cummins has taken his game to another level and Jos Buttler, who doesn’t love watching him play? And you can’t forget about Andre Russell,” Warne said.
