The former Indian cricketer, Wasim Jaffer has named his all-time IPL XI. The 44-year-old has represented India across 31 matches in the longest format of the game where he amassed 1944 runs and also smashed 5 hundred and 11 fifties to his name.

He picked the Caribbean legend, Chris Gayle, as his opener along with the Indian opener and the skipper of Lucknow Super Giants, KL Rahul as well. The left-handed batter has featured in 142 matches in IPL and struck 4965 runs with 6 hundred and 31 fifties to his name.
KL Rahul on the other hand will be a great partner for Chris Gayle as he continuously rotates the strike and smashes boundaries when needed.
