Watch: AB de Villiers’ no-look one-handed six goes out of the park

Sometimes, the viewers run short of adjectives and superlatives seeing AB de Villiers’ style of play. He is a consummate surgeon at the crease who is capable of taking down any bowler. Former Proteas batsman still looks in good shape even after he called it quits from international cricket.

For many of the fans, it is still confusion as to why did the Superman make such a strange decision to quit playing international cricket considering the fact that he has been smacking the balls ever so well. Case in point, AB de Villiers is the consistent batsman for Royal Challengers Bangalore since the start of the 12th edition of IPL.

The prolific batsman was at his devastating best against Kings XI Punjab when he unleashed his true colours. He belted the bowlers at will as he bludgeoned a 44-ball 82-run knock with as many as 3 fours and 7 blistering sixes.

Well at some point, it really didn’t look like as RCB were going to get past the 200-run mark. But with the way AB de Villiers and Marcus Stoinis played, just kept the team flag roaring high.

Showman ABD proves once again why he is one of the best in the business:

AB de Villiers is known for playing the knack of creative shots in the game and which is why he is often referred to as ‘Mr. 360’. This time too, we witnessed some great shots from him during the match, with his no-look one-handed six that went out of the ground was the highlight of the match.

Seeing the shot, commentators went berzerk and so were the fans. Mohammed Shami was the bowler and usually, we don’t find him in the receiving end of giving away runs but this time he got some treatment from AB de Villiers who looked quite aggressive and hungry to score runs.

It was a visual treat for the fans during the 19th over when ABD scored a hat-trick of sixes off Shami’s bowling. After scoring two sixes in a row, ABD went for one more maximum.
