Bangladesh toured Zimbabwe in mid-2013 for full series(2 Tests, 3 ODIs and 2 T20Is). In the 2nd ODI(5th May) at Bulawayo, Bangladesh spinner Abdur Razzak Raj made a record but not the ball, it was with the bat in hand.
Losing the toss, Bangladesh did not had a great start to their batting losing their openers Tamim Iqbal and Mohammad Ashraful early. The run rate of Bangladesh was low. Bangladesh were struggling at 7/185 in 43.5 overs. Then came Abdur Razzak and started storming over Zimbabwean bowling attack.
Razzak brought up his fifty in 21 balls, which is jointly highest for Bangladesh with Mohammad Ashraful. Razzak scored unbeaten 53 off 22 deliveries and hit 4 fours and 5 sixes at a strike rate of 240.90. His brisk-fire innings led Bangladesh to 252/9 where at one point there was doubt whether Bangladesh will score 220 or not. But Zimbabwe won the match by 6 wickets with 13 balls remaining and levelled the series at 1-1. Bangladesh lost the ODI series to Zimbabwe by 1-2.
In 2005, during the NatWest tri-series(England, Australia and Bangladesh), Mohammad Ashraful scored his fifty off 21 balls too. That was the fourth match of the tri-series against England at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. Chasing mamoth 392, Ashraful scored 94 from 54 deliveries with 11 fours and 3 sixes. Bangladesh lost the match by 168 runs.
