Watch: Angry Babar Azam lashes out Asif Ali for throwing away wicket

Pakistan batsman Babar Azam got angry at Asif Ali, the batsman accompanying him on the way to his half century at a point during the innings.


Azam when he was batting on 40 (30 balls) and Ali batting with 4 runs, the former hit a straight drive of Ashton Agar’s over and made an effort to complete a second run out of that.

The Pakistani skipper was unhappy with Ali’s denial and lashed him out in the middle.

But the 28-year old Asif lost his wicket out of a poor delivery just after that leaving Pakistan lost their fourth wicket at the 12th over of the innings.

Agar bowled a delivery just outside off stump, Ali misjudged it and tried a slog sweep; the mistimed shot flew to the sky and then landed safely into Pat Cummin’s hand. On the other end of the crease, Babar Azam was absolutely angry and frustrated on the misjudgment of his partner.
