Prior to the terrible batting collapse of the hosts, their recent sensation Jofra Archer had a good first innings with the ball picking up 6 wickets that resulted in his maiden five-wicket haul in white clothes.

The seam bowler is continuously asking questions to the Australian batsmen with his bouncers. Even Steve Smith got a brutal injury with a bouncer from Jofra Archer and that made him to sit out for the third Test. As it is a great rivalry series, Australian fast bowlers gave back the same to Jofra Archer when he came into bat.

Archer managed to face only 8 balls in the first innings and he got out in an unexpected manner indeed a funny things. Archer tried to leave a bouncer from Pat Cummins by bending down. Unfortunately his bat was straight above his head. Accidentally the ball made a slight contact with the bat and Tim Paine behind the stumps made no mistake.
