Arjun Tendulkar broke into India U-19 last year and he hasn’t looked back.

In what could be termed as Arjun Tendulkar’s ball of the year, he dismissed Surrey 2nd XI batsman Nathan Tilley with his sheer pace.

Following the footprints of his father Sachin Tendulkar, MCC Young Cricketers all-rounder Arjun Tendulkar is en route to achieving many more things in life.

He is now carrying the weight of his father’s legacy and is destined to make the cut into Indian cricket team some day.

Arjun was quite sharp as he hit the deck and produced a delivery which swung back to hit the right-handed opener Tilley’s off-stump as he dismissed for just 4 runs. The batsman had no idea how to defend the ball and before he could make the next step properly, Arjun Tendulkar’s delivery ripped past him to hit the top of his stump.

The epic dismissal was captured and shared by Lord’s Cricket Ground’s Twitter handle with a caption which said, “Arjun Tendulkar, take a bow!”

Interestingly, Arjun was also the pick of the bowlers for MCC Young Cricketers with best bowling figures of 2/50.

He also bowled 2 maidens and bowled 11 overs at an impressive economy rate of 4.55.

Arjun bagged his first wicket for India U-19 during the first Youth Test match against Sri Lanka U-19 team at the Nondescripts Cricket Club ground, Colombo in July 2018.

Arjun, whose father made his national debut at the age of 16 against Pakistan in 1989, needed just 12 balls to claim his first scalp for India U-19 team.
