The ongoing T10 Cricket League tournament in the United Arab Emirates is the hot topic in the cricketing fraternity as it has gained the attention of the majority of people around the game.

On 30th November Kerala Knights took on Bengal Tigers in the Super League stage. The match turned out to be a visual treat for the fans as Jonny Bairstow put a grand show with the bat in the 22nd match of the league.

Bengal Tigers batted first and scored 123 runs in the allocated ten overs for the loss of five wickets. In the batting chart, Windies player Sunil Narine had a blasting show as an opener scoring 52 runs from 25 balls with a strike rate of 208 including four fours and four sixes.

In reply, Kerala Knights chased down the target with eight balls to spare. The run chase was highlighted by the blistering knock of English wicket-keeper batsman Jonny Bairstow.

England batsman Jonny Bairstow smashed the highest individual score in the T10 League with an unbeaten 84 from 24 balls for Kerala Knights in Sharjah.

The 29-year-old Yorkshireman hit eight sixes – with three in as many balls – as the defending champions beat Bengal Tigers with eight balls remaining. He batted at number four in a team led by Eoin Morgan, who was out first ball.

Only last week Bairstow returned from injury to score a century for England in the final Test in Sri Lanka and after helping his country to a 3-0 series whitewash, he flew to the UAE to switch from the longest to the shortest format.

With Bairstow’s knock chased down the target with losing only three wickets. Without further doubts, he was awarded as the man of the match.
