This summer’s Big Bash League is slowly going through it’s second half and the tournament is getting engaged day by day. In this year’s edition Tom Banton is one of the players who are getting high recognition with their performances.

Tom Banton is hitting the ball really well throughout the tournament and his quick fire knocks are one of the most talked things in the season. In Heat’s recent game against Perth Scorchers the right-handed batsman hit an innovative shot and that went for a straight six behind the wicket-keeper.

The incident happened in the first delivery of the fourth over and Jhye Richardson was the bowler. Banton ramped the ball over the wicket-keeper’s head and it went all the way for the six. And more importantly the ball travelled for a big distance too.

In the match, Banton registered his seventh half-century in the format.Banton played incredibly well for his 55 (32) with seven fours and two sixes. Banton is providing some fireworks in the top order along with Chris Lynn.
