Brisbane Heat chased down a target of 158 runs within ten overs in their last league game of this edition’s Big Bash League.
Big Bash League 2018-19 is coming closer to its end card with only a few games left. In the 53rd match of the season, Brisbane Heat took on Melbourne Stars in their last league game which was also expected to be the last game of Brendon McCullum in the league.
Earlier in the match, Brendon McCullum received a good guard of honor from the fans. Brisbane Heat won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Brisbane Heat in reply had a fabulous show with the bat. Both the openers Ben Cutting and Max Bryant were hitting the ball all around the ground right from the first over. The duo was unbeaten till the end of Brisbane Heat innings.
In the end, Brisbane Heat chased down the target with ten more overs left. That made a huge gain for Brisbane Heat in the Net Run Rate system. Ben Cutting and Max Bryant remained unbeaten on 81 and 71 respectively. With this win, Brisbane Heat still have a hope to qualify for knockouts.
