Cricket Australia’s T20 league Big Bash League has started to gain the attention of cricket fans all over the world slowly for this year’s edition as the league is still in the early stage of the league matches.

In a league match on Boxing Day Perth Scorchers took on Adelaide Strikers. Adelaide Strikers batted first and involved in a epic batting collapse in recent times in the format.

Adelaide Strikers were cheaply bowled out for 88 runs in their innings and that too within 18 overs. Richardson troubled Adelaide Strikers with three wickets while Behrendroff and Andrew Tye took two wickets.

In reply, Perth Scorchers chased the target for the loss of three wickets but they took it up to 18 overs to chase the target of 93. Bosisto led the chase with unbeaten 36 runs.

During Adelaide Strikers’ innings, was able to experience a most bizarre run out in recent times and Alex Carey was the batsman involved in that. Bowler bowled a good length delivery to Carey and he worked it towards mid-off.

The fielder collected it comfortably and in the mean time Carey had a mix up with his partner in the middle of the pitch. The fielder threw the ball towards the non-striker’s end but the ball missed the stumps.

The back-up fielder again threw the ball towards the  to the same end as both batsmen were still in the mid way. This time also ball failed to hit the stumps. Bowler reacted immediately and thre the ball to the keeper. Keeper made no mistake and made it finally. That made Alex Carey to end his stay on the crease.
