Nonetheless, he failed to deliver the goods in both the innings as he managed to score just 23 and 10 respectively. Pakistan bowlers bowled really well and kept them in check more often than not. They deservedly won the game by 7 wickets and took an opening lead in the Test series.

Fawad Alam who scored a terrific century in the first Test was named the man of the match for his sensational batting performance. The equation becomes quite tough for South Africa as they have to win the second Test in order to level the series.

During the second Test match in Rawalpindi, Proteas cricketer Faf du Plessis pulled off some cool dance moves as he danced to a song. The video of him dancing spread like wildfire on social media platforms.

Even if the match ends in a draw, Pakistan would win the series. Talking about the game, Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss and elected to bat first. South African spinner Keshav Maharaj provided an instant breakthrough by getting rid of Imran Butt and Azhar Ali.

Anrich Nortje dismissed Abid Ali and the hosts were stuttering at 22 for the loss of 3 wickets. While they were struggling to uplift the tempo, captain Babar Azam and Fawad Alam took the bowling attack to the cleaners by adding a 123-run liaison for the fourth wicket.

At the end of the first day, Babar Azam ended up scoring 77 with the help of 12 fours whereas Babar Azam scored 42 runs including 5 fours.
