Guyana Amazon Warriors finish second, to play in Qualifier 1
In the 30th match of the Caribbean Premier League, Guyana Amazon Warriors defeated Trinbago Knight Riders by 6 wickets.
In the clash between table toppers of CPL 2018, Guyana Amazon Warriors gleefully passed Trinbago Knight Riders’ winning target of 154 runs, midway through the innings.
Sherfane Rutherford and Shimron Hetmyer launched combined attack on TKR’s bowlers, helped them to sign out for the sixth win of the season and the second spot in the point table, and thus assured the Qualifier 1 against the same opponent.

Warriors were targeting to finish things off within 15.3 overs to elevate the team into the second position that would ensure them a direct entry into the final and after a little bit of floundering in the beginning of things, Rutherford and Hetmyer made their way through the desired result.
Kevon Cooper and Nikita Miller were identical snatching 1 wicket each conceding 25 runs in 2 overs while Fawad Ahmed bagged 2 giving away 20 runs.
