Watch: ‘He smells very nice’, Paine Sledges Rizwan during Gabba Test

Pakistan put command in the opening stand after deciding to bat first at Gabba against Australia in the first day of the first Test but lost their track and were all out scoring a paltry 240 runs.

While in the proceeding, a rather gleeful Australian captain exchanged some sledgy words with opponent wicket keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan.

It all happened during the 46th over of the Australian innings when spinner Nathan Lyon was bowling to Rizwan. Following the fourth delivery, Paine was heard on the stump mic predicting that Rizwan would sweep the next ball for a boundary.

After that, Rizwan defended the following delivery and Paine chattering that the batsman in front of the wicket smells very nice.

“He [Mohammad Rizwan] smells very nice,” Paine was heard as saying to the short-leg fielder.

In the midst of batting collapse, Rizwan ended up scoring 37 facing 34 deliveries with the help of seven fours.
