Jadeja played for Gujarat Lions in the 10th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). He fielded superbly well in the last over of a match against Mumbai Indians. Mumbai needed 11 runs in the last over to win the match. Krunal Pandya made it easy with taking 6 runs in the first two balls.

However, when Mumbai needed 4 runs from four balls, Jadeja ran out Bumrah with a great throw. Then Mumbai needed only one run in the last ball of the match. At that time, the spinner forced Krunal Pandya to run out a few centimeters to tie the match.

Referring to the video of the two run-outs, Jadeja wrote,

“Bahar bindaas gumthe ho.  Mast meh timepass karthe ho, jab aapko ghar pe rahena chahiye. Phir yeh toh hona he tha. (You are wandering outside when you need to be at home. Having a lot of fun! Then this is what is supposed to happen.).”

Since making his debut in 2009, Jadeja has played 165 ODIs and 49 Tests and T20I matches for India. He has taken 439 wickets and scored 4338 runs with the bat. However, Jadeja is better known as a great fielder than an all-rounder.
