India are Australia are sweating out in the second ODI of the three-match ODI series in Adelaide Oval. India are in a must-win situation to keep the series alive with them while Australia are looking to seal a series win after a long gap.

Once again Aaron Finch won the toss and elected to bat first. Australia continue with the same XI while India has roped in Mohammad Siraj in place of Khaleel Ahmed.

India off to a good start at the game as Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammad Shami dominated in the mandatory powerplay. Australian top order was well controlled by the Indian bowlers.

Usman Khawaja also had a failure in the ongoing 2nd ODI after a good half-century in the first game at Sydney Cricket Ground. The Aussie left-hander started well but had an unfortunate end to his stay at the crease.

It was in the19th over of Australian innings, Kuldeep Yadav bowled a good length delivery to Usman Khawaja cut it towards the point region. Ravindra Jadeja was at his best fielding position there and comfortably collected the ball there.

Usman Khawaja tried for a quick single and he was on his way towards nonstriker’s end. Jadeja’s powerful arms came into play once again as he fired the ball to the end Khawaja was running.

The ball hit the stumps directly and made the third wicket loss for Australia. That made Usman Khawaja’s stay to the end at 21 runs.
