Watch: Jos Buttler executes perfect stumping to dismiss Sarfaraz Ahmed

Adil Rashid carried out brilliant pieces of fielding as England defeated Pakistan by 54 runs to win the fifth one-day international (ODI) at Headingly on Sunday.

The spinner showcased a brilliant no-look run out to dismiss star Pakistani batsman Babar Azam – reminding fans of the no-look run out from Dhoni in 2016 to send New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor back in the pavilion.

The occurrence took place in the 27th over of the Pakistan innings; the visitors were under pressure of chasing the mighty target of 352 runs posted by England.

Alongside skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed, Babar was batting on 80 off 83 balls when. Sarfaraz pushed one on the leg side and was looking to take a single but eventually decided against taking it.

But by that time, Babar reached in the middle of the pitch. Jos Buttler collected the ball and threw it. Before the batsman could reach back, Rashid picked the ball and executed a perfect no-look run out.

The dismissal eventually turned the match in England’s favor.

In the match, English wicket keeper Jos Buttler did a brilliant stumping to dismiss Sarfaraz Ahmed who was unbeaten at 97 at that time.

In the 32nd over, Moeen Ali allured Sarfaraz with a short ball just outside the off stump. The Pakistani skipper decided to attempt a square cut but failed to beat the man behind the stumps; Buttler – kicked out his right leg and stopped the ball in its tracks.

Sarfaraz took a couple of steps but Buttler had the ball with him and uprooted the stumps to send Sarfaraz packing.
