Watch: Kohli and ABD’s heart-touching message to fans

It is so true that Royal Challengers Bangalore didn’t have the best of times in the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League. They tasted more bitter defeats than the number of wins. However, the skipper Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers delivered a touching message to their supporters.

“RCB fans, thank you so much for the support throughout the season. You guys are incredible,” ABD said. In what was a rain-curtailed game between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals, the match was reduced to five overs per side, AB de Villiers said, “It’s most memorable game of my life. Thanks to you guys!.”

“One game left for the season and it’s been obviously disappointing for us and disappointing for all of you but as we come out and do every year we’re gonna do everything that we can next year to turn this around,” Kohli said.

“Sorry about the up and down performances. We are going to finish on a high but please keep supporting us, it keeps us going and hopefully something special will come out of the last game and the next season,” AB de Villiers added.

“This has to be a special message to you all, even after three hours of game being washed out you still sit in the stadium and give us the loudest cheer when we walk out to bat, so that’s very very special, it’s always going to stay special in our hearts and minds and thank you so much for being the lovely fans that you are and the best fans in the IPL,” Kohli said.
