Watch: Kohli goes in amazement after taking a wicket

Indian skipper Virat Kohli went in amazement after taking a wicket in the warm-up game against Cricket Australia XI in Sydney Cricket Ground. 

Kohli had a bowling spell

India are all set to start the four-match Test series against Australia for the historical Border-Gavaskar trophy, the most awaited Test series in recent times in the fraternity.

Before the Test series, India wrapped up a four-day warm up game against Cricket Australia XI in Sydney Cricket Ground from November 28. The game has awarded some positive vibes for the Indian batsmen as all the main batsmen were amongst the runs in both innings of the game.

But in the bowling department the results were not quite convincing even though the two prime bowlers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah didn’t have as many overs in the game.

Since the bowlers went for runs, Indian skipper Virat Kohli had some overs in the game with his medium fast deliveries. The Indian skipper, on third day’s play, bowled two overs when other bowlers failed to make an impact. Same was the case on Saturday as he again ran in to bowl his medium pace deliveries. He even got the crucial wicket of Harry Nielsen, who scored a century as well.

Nielsen tried to loft Kohli over on-side but ended up giving a simple catch to Umesh Yadav at mid-on as the bowl went much higher than expected. Kohli was elated to take the wicket and celebrated the moment with a big smile on his face.
