Watch: Man apologizes for abusing Sarfraz in public after huge backlashed
An outrageous fan who humiliated Pakistani captain Sarfraz Ahmed in public while the country’s skipper was with his baby boy, has issued apology after being severely criticized from all around the cricket arena.
Sarfraz and co. has been intensely backlashed and trolled after losing the high strung World Cup match against India in a one-sided affair last Sunday. That was the seventh World Cup defeat the men in blue incurred on their arch-rival neighbors.
Being the captain of the side, Sarfarz was the primary target by fans and media on social networks and on television.
Perhaps all of that made some sense until particular fans started body shaming of the captain, blaming his fitness for the loss.
Now this is disgraceful! Two years back you were celebrating and dancing on the roads because of them #ct17 and today you are treating them like this. You may comment on their performance and fitness but this is not the way! #CWC19 #PAKvSA #WeHaveWeWill pic.twitter.com/8Ney8VSlSU
