Watch: MI captain Rohit Sharma pulls DC captain Pant’s leg at the toss

Mumbai Indians are taking on Delhi Capitals in the 13th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. DC haven’t beaten the defending champions in the last four games including the first qualifier and the final at the United Arab Emirates.

Mumbai Indians have a wood over DC in terms of head to head record. MI side have won 16 games whereas DC won 12 games respectively. Ahead of the match between DC and MI, Rohit and Pant were at the toss.

Pant flipped the coin and Rohit said “tails” and it was “tails”. MI captain Rohit won the toss and opted to bat first. When Pant was asked some questions by commentator Danny Morrison, Pant said the team that plays good cricket will win the game.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma interrupted Pant by pulling his leg and didn’t allow him to tell the line-up. The video clip of the same is doing the rounds on social media.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians managed to post just 134/9 in 20 overs. Rohit was the pick of the batsmen as he scored 44 off 30 balls including 3 boundaries and as many sixes.

Veteran leg-spinner Amit Mishra ripped through the defence of MI’s batting line-up and took 4 wickets to his name. Avesh Khan also bowled well by taking 2 wickets.

The likes of Marcus Stoinis, Kagiso Rabada and Lalit Yadav took a wicket each.
