Moeen Ali bowling medium pace
Time is not running well for English all-rounder Moeen Ali. From being the world’s leading wicket-taker over the past 12 months to being drop from the side in Ashes, the off-spinner has seen it all. To change things a little bit, Moeen tried bowling medium pace, but it turned to be even worse for him as he was bashed all over the park.

Moeen had figures of 0-109 before claiming three late wickets to finish with 3-126. He was dumped from England’s Test team after the first Test where he struggled with his off-spin, taking three wickets for 172 runs across Australia’s two innings on a pitch offering plenty of assistance. He then announced that he will take a break from cricket.

Worcestershire coach Alex Gidman about Moeen:

“He has had an intense schedule of international cricket involving the ICC World Cup and the start of the Ashes. Mo loves playing for Worcestershire and he gives a lift to everyone in the dressing room when he comes back and plays for us. We look forward to when he returns soon.”
