Watch: MS Dhoni’s kind gesture with his fan during net session

Indian wicket-keeper batsman and former skipper MS Dhoni had a warm reception to his 87-year old fan during training sessions in Australia.

Indian team is currently having a good outing in Australian summer with their first ever Test series win in Australian soil and a drawn T20I series. After two successful series, India will take on Australia on January 12th in the series opener of the three-match ODI series.

Ahead of the 50-overs format, Indian players are sweating out in Sydney and also they had some indoor training sessions because of the continuous rain in Sydney.

During India’s training camp, the Indian team had a special visitor to see them and it was the World Cup winning captain MS Dhoni who had a warm reception for the special visitor.

An 87-year old woman named Edith Norman visited the Indian camp to see the players and she wanted to greet her favorite player MS Dhoni. Despite being tired, Dhoni made sure to give his valuable time to the lady who looked awestruck.

Seeing Dhoni interacting with his fans is nothing new. The humble cricketer has always made sure to give importance to his millions of fans across the world. Perhaps this is one of the reasons, there has been no deep in his fan-following despite his recent struggles with the bat.

Dhoni was recently omitted from India’s T20I squad for the series against Windies and Australia. However, the selectors have recalled him for the assignments against Australia and New Zealand. The three-match ODI series against Australia gets underway on January 12 in Sydney.
