Watch: The official trailer of ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’

The much awaited trailer of Indian batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar ‘s biopic ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’ is finally out now, and the master blaster himself was present at the launching ceremony on Thursday.

The full-length feature film with an essence of a docu-fiction, written and directed by James Erskine, depicts his journey, from Sachin playing cricket as a child to representing the nation in the sport and becoming a legend of the game.

The film is produced by Ravi Bhagchandka and Carnival Motion Pictures under 200 NotOut Productions. It is based on the life of Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. The music of this film is composed by another great Indian music director, Oscar award winner AR Rahman. The film is scheduled to be released on 26 May 2017 in India and worldwide.

Answering the questions from the media, Sachin Tendulkar said, “This film has helped me relive the important moments of my life through its making! I remain a private person but realised that there is much I have not revealed or spoken about, to those who have been instrumental to my life and career, especially my fans.”

He further added, “I hope the film will be yet another avenue for fans who have showered their love and blessings on me, to cherish the journey that we undertook together for over 24 years.”
