Pant taken 26 runs in Bhumi’s last over

In the match number 42 of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the table toppers Sunrisers Hyderabad kept their winning run going against a struggling Delhi Daredevils despite a thunderous ton from Rishab Pant earlier.


After winning the toss, Delhi Daredevils elected to bat first but found themselves in all sorts of trouble after losing quick wickets right in the beginning. But then came Rishab Pant who repaired the damage and kept hitting bowlers all over the park.

When wickets were going one after another, Pant from the other hand kept going big and in the end, he became the second youngest to score an IPL hundred and youngest to score 1000 runs in the IPL. His unbeaten and a massive innings of 128 off just 63 balls includes 15 fours and 7 sixes and guided guided DD to a big score of 187 runs.

On the other hand, where most of the SRH bowlers were expensive, Shakib Al Hasan picked up both the wickets of the openers Prithvi Shaw and Jason Roy and only conceded 27 runs in his 4 overs.

In reply, SRH lost Alex Hales early but who knew this was the first and also the last wicket for the table toppers to lose. Shikhar Dhawan along with Kane Willamson blasted 176 runs partnership and took their side all the way to a comfortably victory which also knocked out the Daredevils who are yet to win an IPL trophy.
