Watch: Rashid and Shahzad shake a leg

Afghanistan might have surrendered to Sri Lanka in the recently-concluded match in Cardiff on Tuesday but still, they have put a smiling face keeping their heads high. Meanwhile, International Cricket Council (ICC) branded Afghanistan as “clear-cut favourites” for the World Cup 2019 considering the “fun” factor.

“If the @cricketworldcup was awarded to the team that has the most fun, the @afghanistancricketboard would be clear favourites,” the International Cricket Council captioned the Instagram video, in which wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Shahzad and leg-spinner Rashid Khan can be seen chipping in with super cool dances moves while a Bollywood song is being played at the background.

The way in why both of them danced to a song was so good that even the cricket fans enjoyed it at the best scene. Yes, it set the stage on fire. In the process, Mohammad Shahzad even hit Afghanistan skipper Gulbadin Naib in fun and also invited to join the bandwagon.

The video received quite a lot of admiration from avid cricket fans across the world but many took a dig at Shahzad for his funny dance moves.

“He dances in a very funny mood not thinking of what others would say !!! Best video I saw today.. funny but loved it,” a user commented on the Instagram post.

“No Offence to Shahzad, but It is the next step of Famous Anaconda Dance,” the other one joined in.

Another fan gave a big compliment to Rashid Khan by saying: “Rashid is so cute”.

Afghanistan lost to Australia in their tournament opener by 7 wickets and were also defeated by Sri Lanka for 34 runs (DLS method) in their second match. Afghanistan are yet to find a victory in this tournament and it will be quite interesting to see how they approach in the next game against New Zealand on June 8, Saturday at County Ground, Taunton.
