Watch: Rohit shadow bats in front of Smith
Indian right-handed batsman Rohit Sharma did some shadow batting in front of Australian right-handed batsman, Steve Smith.
India’s long tour to Australia is about to end, with only one more day left in the tour. The final Test has started in Brisbane just three days after the dramatic draw at SCG. Australia are batting in their second innings and at the moment they are 243/7 by tea on day four.
After bowling out India for 336 in the second innings, Australian openers remained not out on stumps on day three. Both the overnight batsmen started the proceedings on day four morning. Australians came in an attacking mindset to set a target and make India bat as soon as possible.
Australian right-handed batsman Steve Smith scored a half-century before his dismissal on 55. While the Aussie batsman was on the field, Indian right-handed batsman Rohit Sharma tried to imitate the shadow batting which Steve Smith does regularly.
In the last Test at SCG, the Aussie batsman was put into controversy for clearing the guard of Rishabh Pant during Indian innings. Later the Australian skipper cleared that it is a usual thing which Smith does regularly. Today in between overs, when Smith was there Rohit tried some shadow batting in front of the Aussie batsman.
