Watch: Sachin Tendulkar plays his trademark uppercut

Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar executed one of his trademark shots, uppercut in the first match of Road Safety World Series, that too against spin bowling.

The much anticipated Road Safety World Series 2020 is off to a blistering start as India Legends won the first game by beating West Indies Legends by 7 wickets. West Indies Legends batted first and set a target of 151 runs for India Legends led by Sachin Tendulkar.

India Legends chased down the target comfortably for the loss of three wickets. Virender Sehwag top scored the batting chart with an unbeaten 74 runs.

Along with Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar provided a fiery start for the India Legends in their chase. The vintage opening duo of India added 83 runs for the first wicket before the wicket of Sachin Tendulkar when he was on 36 runs.

During his innings, Sachin Tendulkar played some of his trademark shots. Among them, an uppercut he played of spin bowling made all in to awesome. Tendulkar nicely executed the uppercut shot by kneeling down as much as needed and timed it for perfection as usual.
