Watch: Shami’s gem of a delivery to dismiss Cummins
Indian pacer Mohammad Shami bowled an absolute Jaffer to Australian batsman Pat Cummins on day 4 of the ongoing fourth Test in Sydney.
Day 4 was less action packed in Sydney as rain interruption limited the day’s play for only 25.2 overs. But within that sort of overs, there were some key moments in the play. Australia were bowled out for 300 in their first innings and that made them experience a follow-on enforced by India.
Australian seam bowling all-rounder was the first one to go on day 4 for Australia. Pat Cummins looked in good touch at the end of day 3 and he scored a decent 25 runs in the first innings.
Mohammed Shami in just the 2nd over of the day bowled an absolute beauty to dismiss Cummins. Shami bowled the first two balls short and they were wayward down the leg side. On the third ball, he got his line right.
The ball pitched around the off-stump, jagged back sharply and stayed low leaving Cummins with nothing to do. The Stumps were rattled and that made the end to Cummins’ stay at the crease.
