Watch: Smith annoys England with animated leaves

Steve Smith survived the day with 13 runs into his account before rain suspended the day yet again at The Lords.

The dynamic Test batsman Steve Smith is often appreciated for his unique batting style and stance. He entertained the crowd while annoyed the English bowlers by using his batting stance and with some ridiculous animated leaves.

Smith walked into bat after Australia lost 2 wickets for 60. In a tricky wicket, the dynamic Test batsman took time to settle himself in and played defensively. He left most of the balls with animated leaves before rain interrupted the play yet again. The rain didn’t stop and the umpires had to call off the day.

The pace trio Stuart Broad, Chris Woakes and Jofra Archer kept swinging the ball away and Smith kept leaving the ball in style, which entertained the crowd.

Before rain interrupted and suspended the play, Australia finished day three with 80 for 4. Smith is unbeaten with 13 (40) while Mathew Wade faced 23 balls, but yet to open his account. They trail by another 178 runs.
