Watch the record of six sixes in an over in APL

In the 14th match of the Afghanistan Premier League 2018, Balkh Legends have emerged as winners against Kabul Zwanan.

At the Sharjah International Cricket Stadium in Sharjah, Balkh Legends led by Mohammad Nabi defeated Rashid Khan’s Kabul Zwanan by 21 runs.

Christopher Henry Gayle floodlighted the Sharjah with his spectacular batting T20 batting display as soon as Balkh Legends won the toss and stepped to bat first.

The West Indian giant raced and reached close to hundred before Muslim Musa and Rasooli managed to stop him in quite a bizarre fashion. Rasooli threw the ball and charged it down to Musa, who, while trying to get out of the line of the ball, deflected the ball to the stumps.

Gayle hammered 80 off 48 – with a paltry 2 fours and extensive number of sixes, 10 in total.

The match has had more to offer for the Dubai crowd. When Kabul Zwanan begun the reply innings, opener Hazratullah Zazai clubbed six sixes in an over, thundering the ground.

But his effort quite went in vain as Balkh bowlers strangled the late order batsmen of Kabul, thrashed them failing to score the needed runs at the end. In their 20 overs, Kabul Zwanan completed scoring 223 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.

Chris Gayle of Balkh Legends was adjudged man of the match.

Hazratullah Zazai clubbed six sixes in an over delivered by Abdullah Mazari. 37 runs had been conceded from that over. Watch the record breaking feat in the video-
