Watch: Three iconic moments from Indo-Pak clashes in World Cup history
2. Prasad vs Sohail
This another interesting incident that involved a great competition between bat and ball. The moment happened during the quarter-final of ICC Cricket World Cup 1996 in Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore.
Pakistan was chasing a target of 289 where Wasim Akram pulled as the captain in the last minute. Aamir Sohail was the stand-in captain and he was smashing the Indian bowlers right from the beginning of his innings.
The Pakistan batsman tried to unsettle the Indian pacer Venkatesh Prasad by pointing the cover region where he hit him for a boundary in the previous delivery. In the very next ball, Prasad sent Aamir pack to the pavilion by dismantling the off stump. In the end, India won the game by 39 runs.
