Watch: Warner’s epic reply to hater calling him ‘cheat’
Australia’s David Warner and Steven Smith have been having some difficulties and tough times in facing the spectators after previous year’s ball Tampering incident that took the entire cricket fraternity by shock. Warner and Smith were targeted everywhere and were on the receiving end of trolls and abuses.
Both the cricketers who have served their one-year ban from international cricket, have also learnt to let go of all the talks, trolls and abuses by giving fitting replies. Steve Smith gave nightmares to English bowlers as he notched up his third Ashes double century and this is how to reply back in style.
In another incident from Old Trafford which is going viral on social media, where the fourth Test is being played, David Warner can be seen reacting to a fan’s abusing remark.
While David Warner jogged from the dressing room to step into the field with his teammates, one of the spectators purposely targeted Warner by screaming: “Warner you f***ing cheat”

Just as when everyone thought Warne would be annoyed, much to everyone’s surprise, the cricketer turned around to face the fan boldly and gave them a “wooh” with a thumbs up.
Though it has been a rough patch for David Warner, his team is doing pretty well. Warner has scored his fifty just once in four Tests with scores of 2, 8, 3, 5, 61 and 0.
In another incident, plying his trade in his first Test match after serving a 12-month ban from the game of cricket, Warne was relaxed as he responded to a merciless English crowd who chanted “he’s got sandpaper in his hand” during the 1st Ashes Test in Birmingham.
In the 1st innings, England saw a mini batting collapse and the crowd targeted Warner, who was sent to field near the boisterous Hollies Stand. “He’s got sandpaper in his hands,” screamed the crowd again and again but Warner was pretty much focused on the game.
