We don’t want to think about Hathurusingha: Rubel

Chandika Hathurusingha is now the head coach of Sri Lanka and their second match in the tri-nation series is against Hathurusingha’s former team Bangladesh. Knowing the player’s weaknesses, he will set his plans according to it.

But Bangladesh pacer Rubel Hossain isn’t concerned about it. He said: “Hathurusingha is opposition’s coach. We don’t want to think about him. We want to win our upcoming match. We the pacers, spinners and batsmen are preparing like this.”

Rubel added: “There are many senior cricketers who knows what is their job. They are very helpful. Hathurusingha or Sri Lanka is not a factor. We are not concerned about that.”

About the pacers: “They have good pacers. We have good pacers too. Mashrafe bhai is in a very good form. He also performs with the ball. Mustafizur is also getting back to his rhythm.”

Bangladesh have kicked-off the tri-nation series on a high note by beating Zimbabwe convincingly. Rubel got two wickets and was also on a hattrick. The third match of the tri-nation series will be between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka on Friday.
