We have found a replacement for Cook: Vaughan

Former England captain Michael Vaughan posted a cryptic tweet on his official Twitter handle saying that England have finally found a replacement for Sir Alastair Cook. Vaughan captioned it with #Leach.

Though his tweet appears to be really amusing, cricket fans took it otherwise and then went on to troll Vaughan for his tweet.

“Finally we have found a replacement for Alastair Cook …. #Leach,” Michael Vaughan tweeted.

Jack Leach played as a nightwatchman for England against Ireland where he scored a sensational 92 runs with the help of 16 fours. He constructed a 145-run stand with Jason Roy for the second wicket.

“When the ball does anything you shut your eyes and hope England get through it,” Vaughan told the BBC’s Test Match Special.

“There were some good balls but there was also some timid play and poor strokes.

“Let’s be honest, it’s an embarrassment — you’re at the home of cricket, in a test against Ireland and you’re all out for 85, there is no other word to describe it,” Vaughan blasted England’s batting as they were all out for 85.

However, England batsmen managed to get back into the game by scoring 303 in the second innings, setting up a target of 182 for Ireland.

Soon after Vaughan’s tweet, users came up with epic replies to troll him through and through.
