Zimbabwe wicket-keeper batsman Peter Moor appeared in the press conference on Monday. He made it remember again how crucial the match against Bangladesh is!
He said: “Obviously we targeted the tournament’s final before coming here. We didn’t only come to play here as a formality. Tomorrow’s match is very important for us. To get into the final, it is very important. We are confident that we can perform well.”
Peter added: “The first match wasn’t good for us. But we came back strongly in the next match after getting used to the pitch and the conditions and in the third match the wicket played a crucial part. Because of some crucial moments in the match, we lost. But we proved our worth in the second match. We will take that as an inspiration for our match tomorrow.”
About Bangladesh: “We are very much aware that Bangladesh is very strong at home. They are doing well outside too. We know Bangladesh’s strength well. We also know that Rubel and Mustafizur is very strong in death overs. We are practicing hard. We want to learn from our mistakes. I think we can do our works properly tomorrow.”
