Windies hope to respite pride in T20I after big names appear

West Indies v Afghanistan ODI - St. LuciaThe big names of West Indies cricket who missed the one day international series despite being fit and in form, have all returned to the side for the one off T20 international match against India.

Chris Gayle, Marlon Samuels, Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine have jumped into the action after making a short briefing with coach Stuart Law.

Law, said they are experienced campaigners, therefore, need not to be worked out that much.

“These are players who are massively experienced in Twenty20 cricket. You don’t need to tell them anything. They have more T20Is than I have” – he said.

The hosts, are being thrashed 3 – 0 by India is looking to restore the pride of the team in the single shortest version affair of the game.
