Jason Holder will lead the hosts in the series. Windies have fiery quicks Shannon Gabriel and Kemar Roach, who bowled well against Sri Lanka in three Tests at home recently. Holder himself grabbed nine wickets in D/N Barbados Test. Gabriel took 13-for in the second Test against the Lankans in St Lucia.

Alzarri Joseph, who took four wickets against Bangladesh in warm-up, didn’t find a place while Keemo Paul has. Shimron Hetmyer is in the squad after scoring 123 against Bangladesh in two-day practice match. Devon Smith has held his place in the squad after returning back to squad in SL series.

The first Test will be played at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua from July 4. Jamaica’s Sabina Park in Kingston will host the second and final Test on July 12.

Bangladesh are currently ahead of Windies in the Test rankings. Windies are at No.9 while the Tigers at their all-time best No.8 with 75 points. Bangladesh can still retain their position if they draw the series but winning the series will consolidate their position in the rankings.
