Hawks had an explosive start with the opening pair Shaiman Anwar and Chris Lynn stood for the first wicket partnership of 73 in just six overs.

After Lynn dismissed by Andre Russell, it was 40-year old Anwar who continued the onslaught over the opposition smashing 90 off just 45 balls. With a strike rate of 200, his innings feathered 8 boundaries and 7 over boundaries.

Chasing 193, Vancouver Knights fall apart losing 5 wickets with just 139 runs on the board. But Russell have had other thoughts in him when he came to the crease with the team needing 54 off 19 deliveries.

Russell bulldozed the opposition bowlers on his way to a boundary-studded unbeaten 46 off 20 balls, hitting  three fours and five sixes as Vancouver Knights eventually ended in a tie.
