Sri Lanka, completed the tour of Bangladesh with a perfect note, swaying the flying Tigers into the ground. Not trying to deny the fact, Hathurusingha himself admitted knowing Bangladesh cricketers closely facilitated him developing strategies over the tour.

“I think, yes, of course,” he said; “to be honest, I could plan out each and every cricketer of Bangladesh team as I have prior experiences with them. I know how they react and play under pressure situations.”

“In first two matches, they were a tough opponent for us in accordance with my expectations. In fact, I would be a very frustrated if that did not happen because I do not leave anything behind me. So, I was happy for them,” he continued.

“And look, how my team came back then, I was happy for that too. Largely, it was a very important and ultimately successful tour for me, I’m contented,” Chandika Hathurusingha.

Bangladesh have more upcoming issues against Sri Lanka in the near future. Within less than a month, the Tigers will be in Lion’s den to participate in the 2018 Nidahas Trophy.
