Yuvraj and Irfan engage in funny banter regarding Ben Stokes

Former Indian all-rounder, Irfan Pathan engaged in a funny banter on Twitter with another all rounder Yuvraj Singh over if India had a all rounder like ‘Ben Stokes’. England all rounder Ben Stokes has impressed everyone with his all rounding performance whatever the format, whatever the circumstances, Stokes has proven to be one of the most versatile cricketers of modern-day cricket.

The latest maestro display by the English all-rounder was all rounding performance in the second test which has taken the Test series against the West Indies to a decider. Stokes contributed with bat and ball to lead England to a 113-run win late on the final day of the second Test. Therefore, the three-match series got a equilibrium at 1-1. With England all-rounder’s heroic performance, Irfan Pathan tweeted that Team India can become unbeatable if they had an all-rounder like Stokes.

Irfan’s tweet read: “Indian cricket will be unbeatable anywhere in the world if they have a match-winning all-rounder like @benstokes38 #matchwinner”.

Although, people consider Hardik Pandya as the India’s first-choice all-rounder who played his last international match during the T20Is against South Africa in September last year.

Yuvraj was quick to notice Irfan’s tweet and didn’t forgot to take a dig to him and replied: “Are you saying we don’t have an all-rounder who’s a match-winner?”

In his response, Irfan wrote: “Bro Yuvraj Singh has retired”

Previously, Yuvraj would decided as the best all rounder asset for India. The all rounder decided to kept his boots from international cricket in 2019. He was Man of the Tournament during India’s World Cup-winning campaign in 2011. Therefore, Irfan courtesy his all-round heroics. Yuvraj also showered praises Irfan for his contribution to the Indian team during his playing days too.
