Zimbabwe are scheduled to tour India during March this year, still, the fixtures are not confirmed. But now the tour is in doubt because of the advancement of Indian Premier League 2019.

India were set to host Zimbabwe for one Test and three ODIs. The tight schedule of the Indian team has raised questions over the probability of this series. Both the teams, meanwhile, last played a bilateral series in 2016 when India toured Zimbabwe for three ODIs and as many T20Is. But Zimbabwe are less visited India in past years.

In 2002 Zimbabwe toured India for a whole series. Apart from that tour Zimbabwe visited India for the World T20 in 2016, the World Cup in 2011 and the Champions Trophy in 2006.
