The star cricketer took to Twitter to share the good news with his fans on Friday (February 14).

“The Almighty’s infinite blessings & mercy are upon me…already having been granted 4 wonderful daughters I have now been blessed with a 5th, Alhamdulillah. Sharing this good news with my well-wishers… #FourbecomeFive,” wrote Afridi.

Meanwhile he also shared a picture with his four daughters along with the newest member of the family on Instagram, which has earned thousands of likes from his fans.

Ever since Afridi shared the news on social media platforms, congratulatory messages poured in.

“You are very fortunate Masha Allah, Daughters are the key to paradise, But I pray to God that this time you will have a boy Ameen…” said Gul Muhammad.

Md Iqbal Hossain said, “Alhamdulillah! This is the good sign of fortunate guy. If you guide them in a proper way & take them with good husbands, you will be granted for Janna… InshaAllah.”

The cricketer who will soon turn 40 has retired from international cricket, with his last international appearance being for the ICC World XI against West Indies at Lord’s in May 2018.

However, Afridi is very regular in the franchise cricket tournaments, as he also took part in the Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) for Dhaka Platoon. He will also captain Multan-based franchise Multan Sultans in the upcoming season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
