The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Thursday has announced the High Performance squad for a training camp which included 24 cricketers in total. The camp will begin at the BCB National Cricket Academy in Mipur on Tuesday.

The cricketers have been asked to report to the BCB NCA on Monday.

The 24-member squad features the likes of wicketkeeper-batsmen Anamul Haque and Liton Kumar Das and pacers Al Amin Hossain and Abu Haider Rony were included along with a group of young cricketers.

It has been learnt that at least four cricketers from the HP squad will be called up for the national camp, set to begin on July 10, for the home series against Australia and away series in South Africa.

The remaining cricketers will be part of the Bangladesh A team who will tour Australia and England in order to prepare themselves for the 2019 World Cup.

Performance from the recently concluded Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League 2016-17 season has been taken into consideration while forming the HP squad.
