Australia has proposed to play a single one day international match against Bangladesh later in October prior to go to India to play their scheduled ODI and T20I series.

The proposal is, literally oblivious for Bangladesh as the Tigers have a full scheduled tour to visit South Africa in September, 2017.

Bangladesh Cricket Board wants to arrange a few matches against Australia in August before or after Pakistan visited Bangladesh to play the bilateral series although the cricket authorities of Bangladesh wished to arrange a few more matches with Australia by that time.

Regarding the issue that Australia is unwilling to stay here for a longer period of time forced BCB to consider lesser number of matches to be played against the World Champions.
