However, the season of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the biggest cricket event of the country, is coming again year after year. Whether it will be BPL or not is also uncertain this time.

Jalal Yunus, chairman of the media committee at the BCB premises today, said in response to a question that there has been no discussion about the BPL yet. However, efforts will be made to organize at the end of the current year.

Calling the BPL the best event in domestic cricket, he said, “We are considering the BPL as a domestic tournament. Many international cricketers come and play here. The big question now is whether international cricketers will come or not. It is important to know if the franchisees are ready.”

“Let the month of August be completed. In September we will think. We have slots in December-January. We will try to organize BPL there.”
